FAQ

A few things you might be wondering.

Does the guest need an app?

No. Guests scan the QR code and use the menu in their phone’s browser. An internet connection is required.

How does table ordering work?

A table QR joins the current shared visit. Submitted orders appear as separate rounds on the table bill and in the Staff Console. Serving a round keeps the visit open; ordering pauses during pending settlement.

Can multiple guests order together?

Yes. Each phone has its own unsubmitted cart. Guests can submit separate rounds to the same visit, and everyone sees the shared table bill.

Do restaurants need a new POS?

QR.CR works as a separate browser workspace alongside your existing restaurant process. You do not need to replace your POS to use QR menus and ordering. QR.CR does not currently integrate with POS systems.

How are payments handled?

Guests request settlement with restaurant staff. Cash, an external card terminal or another supported external method is handled outside QR.CR. Staff start a payment record, then confirm full payment received; only that confirmation automatically closes the visit. Authorized manual closure does not prove payment. Customer online card checkout is not enabled.

Can staff use a tablet?

Yes. The unified Staff Console is designed for tablet, mobile and desktop browsers. Staff sign in with their restaurant, name and PIN.

What does QR.CR cost?

The intended subscription is $9.99/month per restaurant location, with no per-order platform commission. Restaurant payment-processing fees, where applicable, remain separate. Subscription checkout is not available on this page.
